“Reservoir Dogs” and “Kill Bill” Star Michael Madsen Dies at 67

Character actor Michael Madsen—best known as the ruthless Mr. Blonde in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs and Budd in Kill Bill Vol. 2—died July 3 at age 67. Found unresponsive at his Malibu home, he was pronounced dead of cardiac arrest, according to his manager Ron Smith. Over a four-decade career, Madsen appeared in more than 300 film and TV productions, including Thelma & Louise, Donnie Brasco, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and was preparing a poetry collection titled Tears for My Father at the time of his passing.
