Slash Seeks a Credit for an Alleged $1.5 Million Support Overpayment

Family-law dockets are full of wage assignments that outrun the humans who set them up. Slash's camp told a story TMZ summarized this way: a business manager overpaid an ex-spouse by about $1.5 million in support, and the musician wants future installments reduced until the ledger is square.
That is a credits-and-offsets problem. Courts ask whether the payee changed position, whether the error was mutual, and whether a lump-sum clawback would be inequitable. A rock catalog does not change the doctrine. It only changes the zeros.
What is not decided
No ruling was attached to the item we are rewriting. The dollar figure is the amount claimed, not the amount recovered. Court Magazine will update on an order, not on a headline.
