Justice Department Brief Narrows Apple Contempt Fight at Supreme Court

The Justice Department told the Supreme Court it wants narrower grounds for civil contempt in Apple’s appeal of an Epic Games ruling.

A California judge held Apple in contempt after a new 27 percent commission on certain off-app purchases.

The justices agreed in June to hear the case. DOJ said it filed in support of neither company.
