Body of California man, 80, found in Mexico burial pit

The body of Wilmer Trivett, who vanished on Feb. 11 has been found in a burial pit in Baja California.

According to the State prosecutor Daniel de la Rosa, two locals were arrested in connection with the killing.

Prosecutors state that Trivett apparently was involved in a traffic accident with the two suspects who managed to extort $2,500 from Trivett. When unable to get more money from him, they kidnapped and murdered him.
